Hi there!

I'm a scientist and engineer who's excited about the prospects for using AI to understand and improve life. I work as a Senior ML Scientist at Aureka Biotechnologies, solving problems in AI for protein design. During my PhD at the Carnegie Mellon ML Department, I developed graph learning methods for large-scale human genomics and transcriptomics data. Most recently, I was at BigHat Biosciences, where I developed methods based on protein language models for multi-objective optimization of antibody therapeutics.

In my free time, I've worked on the "grabby aliens" astrobiological model with Robin Hanson, and on feature preprocessing, missing data imputation, and confounded domain adaptation for tabular data.
